Small Business Opportunities: How to Change Lives and Rocket to Startup Success

If only that was possible, right?

You have a dream. It’s a noble dream of course.

And all you want to do is to pour your heart and soul into making it come true. You are completely and utterly dedicated. You are fearless. Because you know that this idea, this simple idea that you just can’t stop thinking about, it has the potential to make the world a better place, and there are tons of small business opportunities!

It is your obligation as an entrepreneur to make that happen.

You want to engage and connect people from all around the world. You want to spawn entirely new industries. You want to revolutionise the way things get done.

And you want all of this to happen because of you. Because you are the brave one. You are the one willing to take the risk.

You will dare to try.

And best of all, it’s not even about the money. Sure, having money would be great and would allow you greater freedom and security, and maybe more luxury than you currently have… 😉

But money does not drive you.

You are driven by legacy. You want to be remembered as the great one for generations and generations to come.

And every single night you go to sleep, you can’t help but think about how all of your dreams will one day come true. The image of the person that you will one day become keeps playing in your mind. Over and over again.

You are a rock star.

You own what you do.

You are on a mission to destroy corrupt practices.

You are determined to shake up old industries.

You are driven by extreme passion and a fruitful purpose.

You will prove that anyone can make it.

You will defy defeat.

And best of all, you will make your family so damn proud.

The Dream

You know, a dream is much like a woman.

Play games with a dream and you won’t get much more than a couple of meaningless flings at best. Then you will inevitably go back to your mundane life, alone for the most part, until the next one comes along – only to leave again.

But.

If you treat your dream well, if you give it your heart and soul. Then you will be setting yourself up for something a lot more beautiful. Probably one of the most beautiful things in the world.

And that my friends, is a wife. A great wife for that matter.

And because of this, you need to fall in love with your dream. Hopelessly and head over heels in love with it.

You need to treat it well. You need to protect it until your last dying breathe. You need to give it all the attention and love it deserves. You need to hold it close. Massage it day in and day out until you spoil it silly. Take it on fun dates. Sleep with it. Sleep with it a lot. Satisfy it.

And then you need to make sure that it never has any reason to leave you.

Because well, you are not too far from the dream my friends.

The Best of the Best

If you are reading this, then you are most likely already the best at what you do and always open to learning more. The crème de la crème if you will. You have the passion, you have the knowledge, and you most definitely a have a ton of small business opportunities, just waiting to burst out and conquer the world.

So if you are serious about your work (which I’m pretty sure you are), you want to change lives, to rocket to startup success, and make customers fall deeply in love with you – then please do read on and listen up.

This just might change your life.

Unleash the Jedi in You

Did you notice what I did in the paragraphs above?

Now, I am no Jedi – and I can assure you that I have no magical powers whatsoever. The force is rarely on my side. But I did use a little mind trick to capture your precious attention, and for those of you who are still reading – well, it must have worked.

What I did is easy.

I simply put myself in your position, the aspiring entrepreneur, and fed you what you needed to hear in order to inspire you to be the best.

Shameless? Maybe a little. But I’ve done it with an innocent mind and great intentions on providing you with some amazing small business opportunities.

And if I were to be honest, it actually goes a little deeper than that. So if you have a second and want to know how you can do this too with such amazing outcomes, hang on – I will tell you exactly how you can use this technique to create your own repeated successes.

So here it is, the secret you’ve all been waiting for, a term coined by the almighty and all-powerful Jon Morrow you need to sleep with your clients.

No, not literally.

What I mean is that you need to creep into their beds at night (again, not literally), seep into their minds, and discover what they are thinking about.

Due to the constant hustle and bustle of everyday life, humans have a natural tendency to save their most important thoughts and desires for the night-time, right before they go to sleep. It is a time for them to relax and reflect on the most important factors in their lives. A time to get excited for the future. A time to worry about loved ones.

And that is extremely valuable information.

Demographics are important, and most marketers do come up with some sort of stats and figures about their prospects – which ultimately convinces them that they know their audience.

But do they really? Not usually.

It is not until you are able to put yourself in their position, to figure out what exactly it is that keeps them awake at night – that you will truly understand your audience and their greatest desires.

Thoughts In Bed

Before drifting off the sleep a passionate marketer/entrepreneur will dream about how awesome and cool it would be to be their future successful self. That is extremely powerful information for me to know, and has allowed me to craft this entire article based on that one titbit of knowledge. I’ve just slept with you all.

A recently fired single 30-year-old male might have a completely different perspective. He might be thinking of how to pay the bills, how to get a new job, if he should start a business. Do you know how many recently fired 30 year old males there are in this world? Tens of millions, and these are the things that keep them awake at night – which means that they all need your help. So give them something to focus on before they fall asleep – something connected to you, your brand and your business.

Do you see how easy it is?

They Will Love You

So you see, if you are able to figure out what your potential clients think about before they go to sleep at night, their concerns, their core desires – and then craft your entire product, service, or message based around that – you will be off to a hell of a good start.

You will seem relatable, trustworthy, and most importantly: like someone who understands them. Better yet, you will be able to talk to them on a deeply personal level that your competition just won’t be able to grasp or replicate.

That is exactly what your clients want, and they will thank you for changing their lives!

So get on out there and unleash your inner Jedi! Get into the minds of your chosen demographic, sell them what they want, and then give them what they need.

You just can’t go wrong with this formula.

Go on then, give it a try.

Who will you be sleeping with tonight?

More Problems, More Solutions

For most people, life is one big problem after another. Problems never seem to stop. But what they really want is to just be happy.

And according to the laws of logic, less problems = more happiness.

It’s that simple.

So your job as an entrepreneur is to find these problems and to offer a solution so great that your clients would be absolutely insane to pass on it.

And the great thing (well, great for you) is that problems never cease to exist.

It Starts With You

Have you ever been busy doing something and you just didn’t understand why it was so damn complicated? You tried everything you could think of and nothing worked, or even seemed to bring you any closer to a solution. Chances are, this has happened to you many times before.

Was that a problem?  Yep.

Are there others who feel exactly the same as you about this problem? Most definitely.

Would it be possible for you to actually find a solution to this problem rather than just cry about it? Without a doubt.

And the world will love you for it.

A Story About Love

So there is a couple that have just gotten married. They go on their honeymoon and everything is still new and exciting. Things are great. Two weeks later they arrive back home ready to get on with their lives together. Things are still pretty good. They go to work. They come back home. And occasionally they even get to travel. Everything seems perfect from the outside.

But after years and years of the exact same routine, something starts to happen.

The married couple starts to talk less.

They kiss less.

And all the small things that they used to do for one another out of love and gratitude now seem more like chores.

Things are no longer great.

Their marriage has become dull and boring. And that is a big, big problem.

It happens with client relationships too. Something that was once novel and exciting becomes routine, and neither you nor your clients get much out of it anymore.

So as an entrepreneur ready to change lives, what would you do? Would you sit idly by? Or would you try to identify when the problem started and what you can do to shake things up, making your relationship fresh and interesting again?

But do you get what I am trying to say?

You need to start identifying and solving problems. And you need to start solving them fast.

There will always be more problems, and you have the power to constantly be examining them and coming up with innovative solutions.

So from now on, you need to make it your number one priority as a smart businessperson/marketer to discover the problems that people face on a daily basis – because the likely hood is that there are people from all around the world who absolutely need what you can offer them.

Can you believe that?

They absolutely need what you can offer them.

So start offering it! And never look back.

You Are Not Alone (But Not in a Good Way)

If you’ve made it this far until the end, then you’re a star. And more than that, you are serious about your work. And that’s just great.

But I’ll be honest with you, I’m a little scared.

Not because I don’t believe in you, and not because I think that your ideas aren’t good enough.

But because I am aware that you are not alone (and not in a good way).

Other entrepreneurs from around the world are taking care of their dreams and strategizing their own plans for world domination as well. And one of them just might have the same idea as you.

But.

I’ve just told you the secret recipes to start-up success. You are one step ahead. This is your shortcut.

So apply it and get started right this second.

Dream big.

Dream for a better world.

Be epic.

Strive for greatness.

Because we need more people like you.

All you have to do now is to get out there and start changing lives.

It’s in your hands now.

So what are you going to do?

I’ve heard this from all the really successful people in this and every other business. I know it is good advice. Very often though, the devil is in the details with these things, and a little guidance on the practical side of things go a long way. So I have one question. Sometimes your client is someone far removed from you. You can guess at what keeps them up at night. But my thinking is, if you REALLY want to know what makes them tick, the ideal thing would be to get as “up close and personal” to them as possible. Does anyone out there have tips on various ways to do that?

I loved your ending – about striving big and that the world needs more people like me. What a great encouragement as you have us all thinking about dreaming!

    Hi Karim,
A very inspiring article which led me to write a new post on my own site. Your article brought to light the issue of worry over available jobs and assisting others for me, and therefore, I wanted to lend a hand to all that might be in that position. No matter what your day to day duties are, we all are (or hopefully) assisting others to fill their needs and enjoy a fulfilling, bountiful life. People should print out your secret recipe and tape it to their refrigerator or shower door. Anywhere that it is always visible. Great advice.

Awesome, it’s a great honor to hear that my article has inspired you :). You know, the best thing about being able to help others in any way that you can, is that you would feel better than you have ever felt in your entire life. It’s an amazing feeling, and one of the sincerest forms of happiness :).

      1. D Hayes says:

So true Karim, and lets just hope someone who is needing a job and has knowledge in sustainability finds my post. The position sounds incredibly attractive and if one has never visited that part of Colorado, they don’t know what they are missing!

  5. When I saw this in my inbox I could have sworn you were referencing my book, “Love Potion: Creating Wild Customer Attraction,” that’s just about to release! I guess some smart minds do think alike. Good tips here! Glad I swung by. 🙂

  6. Turndog Millionaire says:

    Great thoughts, Karim

Certainly not easy to achieve, but if you can get to know your audience (really really well) then life becomes so much easier. But you’re right, you can never sit back.

Once it gets stale, that is just as dangerous

Thanks a lot dude, glad to hear it! Yeah, it’s incredible how many doors can open for you if you get to know your audience really well, and the best part is that it is honestly very rewarding when you give them exactly what they want!

Karim… I feel we’re totally on the same page, I’ll be swinging by your blog 🙂

    Rock on and ryze up!

  8. Hi Karim and Danny, The one thing that does make us unique is that we are, well, ourselves. No one is going to do what we do the exact same way we do…and maybe not with a product that everyone competes to sell, but in certain arenas like Services, we are positioned to be stars if we will keep at it. Not everything is for everyone, but if we know we are meant to do this thing, whatever it may be, we can only shine.

    1. Karim Boubker ( User Karma: 0 ) says:

Hello Julie, thanks a lot for the comment! I completely agree with what you said, we are all unique in our own way and we all have our own purpose in life. Because of this, I firmly believe that it is of vital importance to figure out exactly what you are meant to do before you can ever shine – and it angers me that too many people completely disregard this! Anyways, I checked out your blog, and you seem to be on the right path… I wish you all the best!
