Leveraged Learning: How the Disruption of Education Helps Lifelong Learners and Experts with Something to Teach
When Education is Disrupted, Will YOU Be Part of the Solution?
The gap between the world that we live in and the world that we wish for is bridged by education.
It’s nothing new to proclaim that higher education is broken.
Every day, someone new is pointing out that there are serious and pervasive flaws in the model, and the outcry is getting louder and fiercer that “something must be done.”
It’s also nothing new to attempt to provide a solution, and many passionate entrepreneurs, educators, and policy makers have jumped in with both feet to tackle the problem. But it’s a complex, nuanced, many-layered issue, and if we had a solution, then we wouldn’t still be talking about this.
Indeed, many people who care deeply about education’s future have thrown up their hands at the sheer magnitude of the task.
So I wanted to take a different approach, one that would be big enough to tackle the problem by igniting many small fires of countless individual contributors who could be empowered to do their part.
Therefore, I’ve written a book with a global scope. Every chapter in this book could have been an entire book, or several, of its own. Many of the ideas I’ve shared could be further expanded, and there’s a lot of work to be done. That work is for all of us to do.
Seizing this sort of education in its current early state takes ingenuity from learners, dedication from experts and teachers, and vision from business leaders.
Most importantly, it takes courage from all three.
Will you join the ranks of the entrepreneurs and educators who will fill the gap between where we are now and where we want to be?
Order the book or read it online, and I hope it’ll stimulate your own thoughts, ideas, and dreams about how you could contribute.
