Transforming Childhood Trauma into Personal Growth (Dr. Natalie Green)

  • Episode #33

Dr. Natalie Green discusses the profound impact of childhood trauma on brain development and emotional health. You’ll gain valuable tools to help clients move beyond their trauma, fostering post-traumatic growth and resilience. The discussion emphasizes holistic healing for lasting transformation.

In each episode of Neuroscience of Coaching, host Dr. Irena O’Brien explains the science-based insights behind a particular concept and interviews a coach to discuss how these apply in the real world. Just as she does in her professional programs, Irena “un-complicates” neuroscience and teaches practical, evidence-based tools and strategies that listeners can use in their coaching practices.

“Most parents don’t set out to damage their children, but there’s this history, an intergenerational trauma. They’ve had their own trauma, and the generation before them had their own trauma. So it’s passed on from one generation to the other.”
