Tactile Learning Online (Cybele)

  • Episode #42

For healing practitioner Cybele, creating online courses is an ever-expanding experience. For her students, the courses become an ever-deepening and evolving journey. As a result, she has created a loyal base community that continues year after year.

Cybele is the creator of Cybele’s Well. Her courses guide students in using crystals and stones to cultivate embodied intuition and practice self healing. She brings her continued growth and training as a healer to her online community.

In this episode, Danny and Abe talk with Cybele about her unique course structures.

In this episode we discuss:

  • The value of building a loyal community, regardless of size.
  • How doing what you find meaningful can translate into a course and business.
  • Why scaling just for the sake of scaling doesn’t serve any purpose.
  • The power of leaning into your strengths and gifts.
  • Creating a course that is tactile and experiential.
  • Designing a course journey that is ongoing.
  • Using a sliding scale payment structure.
“It’s about the creativity and the community and the healing that happens. I mean, most of the people in this group, I’ve known for 20 to 34 years.”

Cybele

Cybele (AKA Suzette Rochat) is a Lomi Bodyworker, Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner, and Intuitive Stone Healer, who has practiced hands-on healing & intuitive work since 1979.

Over the past two decades, Cybele took her longtime practice of working with the body and dreaming into the earth-work of Stone Medicine.

Her meditations & devotional study of stone-lore and geology led to the creation of a pair of 8-session monthly workshops that combine healing work with stones, color and the chakras – the 7 Gates Journeys.

A long-time dream worker & ritual-maker, Cybele also offers birthday dream incubations with a stone for individuals. Find more info about Cybele at www.cybeleswell.com.

Course Lab

Ever wondered how online courses could be even better? What would that next level look like? Those are the questions driving online course experts Ari Iny (Growth Manager of Mirasee) and Abe Crystal (co-founder of Ruzuku) in Course Lab. In each episode, they bring on an innovative course creator and deconstruct what makes their course (and course business) work for them and their students.
