Alexis Rodrigo

Content Writer

“The reluctant writer.” That’s how a friend once described Lexi. Who would have thought she would someday make a living as a writer? After 20 years in non-profits and 7 years as a freelance copywriter, Lexi realized her dream job was to get paid to read, think, and write about topics that have a positive impact in the world. Becoming Mirasee’s Growth Content Writer was a dream come true.

Lexi is a multi-passionate person who enjoys learning new things and sharing what she knows with others. She’s a lifelong learner of why people think, believe, and act the way they do. Blogging proved to be the perfect platform for her. She has blogged on everything from marketing and copywriting, to freelancing and parenting. She has even blogged about blogging. For Lexi, the best type of writing is one that moves people, makes them care.

She’s passionate about the eco-friendly lifestyle. She grows veggies and herbs when the Canadian climate allows, cleans her house with vinegar, and makes her own bread. When her children had asthma, eczema, and food allergies, Lexi immersed in gluten- egg- and dairy-free baking and cooking, reflexology, aromatherapy, homeopathy, and herbalism.

When she’s not writing, Lexi indulges in what she loves most: family, faith, food, books, and Netflix.
