Dr. Bonnie Wilson brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in complex healthcare settings. Her career began at the bedside, serving in nursing roles across Washington, D.C., Maryland, New York, and Texas. Those early years shaped her deep respect for people, systems, and the realities leaders face under pressure.

Her transition into leadership took place in Washington, D.C., where she led emergency department operations before becoming the Administrative Director of Emergency and Outpatient Services for the largest healthcare provider in western Maryland. In these roles, she oversaw people, performance, culture, and outcomes in high-stakes environments. In 2011, Dr. Bonnie formally entered executive coaching through her work with the Studer Group. Partnering with C-suite executives, directors, and managers nationwide, she helped healthcare organizations strengthen patient experience, employee engagement, and physician alignment. From 2011 through early 2020, she served as Executive Director for Emergency Services across nine emergency departments within a large West Coast health system, leading measurable improvements in quality, culture, and performance.

After relocating to Texas, Dr. Bonnie founded Xceeding the MarkTM Executive Coaching and Consulting, combining her operational leadership experience with her passion for developing confident, capable leaders. Today, she works with leaders who carry responsibility without always having clarity or support, helping them lead with purpose, accountability, and excellence. Her coaching is grounded in real-world leadership, disciplined frameworks, and a deep understanding of how people, systems, and results intersect.

Outside of her work, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.
