Unlocking Motivation (Melinda Cohan)
- Episode #1
Dr. Irena O’Brien welcomes Melinda Cohan for a surprising and deep conversation on the hidden science behind motivation. Whether motivating ourselves or our clients, understanding how to work with the brain instead of against it is the key to success.
Welcome to Neuroscience of Coaching. In each episode, host Dr. Irena O’Brien explains the science-based insights behind a particular concept, and interviews a coach to discuss how these apply in the real world. Just as she does in her professional programs, Irena “un-complicates” neuroscience and teaches practical, evidence-based tools and strategies that listeners can use in their coaching practices.
Melinda Cohan is the CEO of The Coaches Console and host of the Mirasee FM podcast Just Between Coaches.
“They’ve been in this spot for so long that they just don’t know how to think or feel or behave any other way. It’s just what they know, it’s become their norm.”— Melinda Cohan
