Presenting Neuroscience of Coaching (Lion Goodman)

  • Episode #11

Melissa Deal introduces Neuroscience of Coaching, another show on the Mirasee FM podcast network, hosted by Dr. Irena O’Brien. In this bonus episode, Lion Goodman and Dr. Irena explore how the human brain evolved to be a “predictive machine.”

Lion Goodman is a Professional Certified Coach and the CEO of the Clear Beliefs Institute.

“Thank you, brain. Thank you for holding on to these patterns for so long, because you’ve helped me survive. But now I’m an adult. I’m not five years old anymore.”

— Lion Goodman

Lion Goodman has been called a subconscious-pattern detective, a belief therapist, a healer of the psyche, a teacher of change agents, a coach of coaches, and an “evocateur” — one who evokes the best in others.

He is a Professional Certified Coach and the CEO of the Clear Beliefs Institute, dedicated to awakening, healing, and enlightening humanity so we can get on with the job of being fully human while working in collaboration to create a world that works for everyone. This includes individuals, organizations, businesses, and governments, all of which are needed to create a sustainable and thriving planetary civilization.

After decades of inner research and development, he created the Clear Beliefs Method of trauma-informed therapeutic coaching to eliminate negative and limiting beliefs, resolve childhood wounds, and delete traumatic memories at their source. He has had the privilege of teaching this transformational technology to more than 500 coaches, therapists, healers, and consultants around the world through his Clear Beliefs Training.

Dr. Irena O’Brien teaches coaches and care professionals how to achieve better results for their clients through neuroscience.

She is the founder of Neuroscience School, which helps practitioners understand and apply insights from cutting-edge neuroscience research. She loves seeing her students gain confidence in their ability to evaluate neuroscience findings and use them successfully in their own practices. Her Certificate Program in Neuroscience is certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) for Continuing Coaching Education credit.

Dr. O’Brien has studied neuroscience for 25 years and holds a Ph.D. in the field from the Université du Quebec à Montréal (UQAM), where she did brain-imaging studies. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Centre for Language, Mind, and Brain at McGill University.
