From Zero to Wealthy (Rennie Gabriel)
- Episode #55
For author and philanthropist Rennie Gabriel, making it is about being able to give enough to make a difference. After hitting financial rock bottom, he found that generating wealth was a team sport and not a solo endeavor. Now he helps others do the same.
Welcome to Making It! This weekly show explores the lives and stories of entrepreneurs as they share their unique perspectives on their success and the path to making it.
Rennie Gabriel is the author of the best-selling book Wealth on Any Income, which is also the name of his business. Rennie is also a speaker, instructor and philanthropist who helps others realize their own financial freedom.

“It’s not only okay to ask for help, it’s vital if someone is going to succeed that they’re willing to ask for help.”Rennie Gabriel
Rennie Gabriel supports individuals and business owners to create work as a choice, instead of a requirement, just as he did for himself using Complete Financial Choice®.
As a highly rated instructor at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA), Rennie uses his award-winning, best-selling book Wealth on Any Income to teach effective money skills from emotional and psychological aspects to practical components. His book has been translated into five languages.
Rennie is a retired Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®). His clients range from financial professionals, like CPAs, stock brokers and financial planning firms, to entrepreneurs in the transformational space, like coaches, authors and speakers. He also works with large organizations like the FBI, American National Insurance and Toyota Motors.
Rennie had gone broke twice (two divorces), but using the same concepts published in his book, Rennie created more wealth in each recovery than what he had prior. Rennie was a single parent for about 3 years after his first wife left. His two children have given him four grandchildren. Rennie is married for the last time to Dianne Merryl, who is a true partner in every sense of the word.
After 40 successful years in financial services, Rennie now works to donate 100% of the profits from his speaking fees, wealth programs, books and business coaching to charities. He primarily supports Shelter to Soldier, an organization that rescues and trains dogs to donate to soldiers with PTSD.
