Warren Fiihr of ActionCOACH Sugar Land joins Michi Lantz for a grounded conversation about the shift from operator to owner, why many founders still own a job instead of a real company, and what has to change before a business can run without them.

Warren Fiihr is an experienced professional who has been collaborating with local businesses since completing his college education. With a proven track record, he has effectively expanded and managed large sales and marketing organizations across 9 different states. Notably, he achieved remarkable success by overseeing a Peabody award-winning NBC television station at the age of 39, as well as leading a multi-state advertising sales organization with revenues exceeding $100 million. He’s been a featured speaker at conferences including World Missions as Business Conference in Dubai and DigiMarcon Houston.

Warren’s true passion lies in supporting entrepreneurs and fostering teamwork and culture. Throughout his career, he has consistently propelled businesses to achieve significant growth, with average profit increases of 5-10x in their first years and even higher multiples over time. Currently, Warren serves as the owner and certified master coach of ActionCOACH Sugarland.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Warren cherishes his 30-plus-year marriage to his lovely wife Paula, and takes pride in his two wonderful adult daughters.  He enjoys music, golf, surfing, travel and the occasional dive. He also shares his home and yard with a pack of decently-trained dogs, a couple of guinea pigs and a parrot.
